Q. How do I clear the Library Hold for overdue library material on myFSCJ account?
While the Library and Learning Commons does not charge overdue fees, we place blocks in myFSCJ for library material (this includes books, DVDs, calculators, etc.) which have been overdue for more than 30 days. This hold can be cleared by returning your overdue items to any LLC. If you cannot return the items, contact the owning campus or center to inquire about replacing or paying for them. Please note: all payments are final, so be sure to carefully look for the item(s) before you decide to pay for them.
The hold in myFSCJ shows you the name of the campus or center that owns the overdue item(s) and the cost of the item(s). A specific list of the material checked out to your account can be located by logging into your library account in myFSCJ, (select Library and Learning Commons under Useful Links). Click the My Account button at the top right of the library search page and then click the Loans/Renewals button.
